About Me.............................

For those of you who may be interested to know a little bit about me. My name is Lora Dyball, I live in Baldock with my family, who are, my partner Darren and our daughter Evie. When leaving school I wanted to work in beauty therapy and did some training but actually ended up working in Marketing and over the span of about 10 years have worked in Account Management for various marketing agencies, evolving into consultancy for improving business processes and customer services operations, most recently working at a large London based publishers data centre. In March 2009, my contract came to its end and having spent the best part of 2 years dedicated to work and hardly seeing my family and friends, I decided it was time to re-evaluate my direction. Like many people, my work/life balance was well out of kilter and I wanted to spend more time at home. This led me to pursue my original direction of health and beauty. Having spent time over the years qualifying in various beauty disciplines, mostly when on maternity leave, but some in my spare time, I took the opportunity to begin offering my beauty services, which I have continued to do over the past few months and have gradually built up a very loyal client base. Being able to spend more time at home, more time enjoying Baldock and more time getting to know fellow Baldock residents has made me feel much happier and part of a very friendly and welcoming community. This is how the idea of the Baldock Buzz was born! I love Baldock & Baldock deserves to be embraced. By bringing the partnership of community and business together, Baldock can be enjoyed by all as a thriving town. I hope you will all join me in supporting Baldock Buzz.
